What did you like about kindergarten?
All year the Love Magnet has been talking about her favorite things at school. Computer was always tops of the list, usually followed by singing, circle time (aka story time), gym, recess, and seeing her best friend The Divine Miss O.Today she was working on her final kindergarten journal entry when I went over to the school early. I peeked through the tiny window on the door to see my darling daughter bent over her paper, intently working on her journal page.
The page was entitled "My favorite thing at school". I fully expected her to be drawing a picture of a computer, possibly combined with a Picasso portrait of The Divine Miss O.
Nope.
Nine months of school and my Love Magnet's favorite part:
Snack Time.

Yah, that was funny! I even gave her computer as an option to draw about too. She still picked snack. And she'd been on the computer twice that day, one in class, and one in the computer lab. :)
Love the nickname of Love Magnet. It so fits her!

One of my most vivid memories of kindergarten was turning cream into butter. Our teacher poured heavy cream into baby food jars, screwed the lids on very tight, and let us roll the jars around on the floor until we'd made cream. (Amazingly, none of the jars spilled their contents.)
I laughed out loud when I read that last part. Kids are so unpredictable. VERY CUTE! Your little daughter is adorable!
She sounds like Adam's kind of girl!!!! Almost everyday when I ask him what he did in school he tells me what they had for snack :) (I can so relate though) Too funny!

I would have to say your daughter has my vote. Thats what I remember from kindergarten. You have good taste Love Magnet. I bet Super Mom can whip up some good snacks. What's your favorit cookie recipe?
